If horses were wishes

Let's just say the year ended with me in an very unlikely place. But to everyone who completed the above word with year we need to work on a few things. Here is the list.

Spiritual life

almost half of the congregation that have their spiritual life streamlined  met in church to part ways with the just completed year. As our pastors used to say. We ended with prayers and we started with prayers.its not just about that. The Bible as a book had nothing to do with a calendar . To my knowledge a calender is a Greek publication that was mainly aimed at helping farmers with their seasons.

I don't blame people,because I was among those who cheered the fireworks that sprout into the air to usher in the year 2022. But can we just not be waiting for a circle of 365/365 to praise the Lord for having kept as alive that all time. 

I'm not saying we shouldn't, we should but maybe we should be doing that after every quarter of a year. Because every second of living deserves that.

Imagine if someone just said we were wrong and today is the last day of 2021.we will all gather in churches to curse whoever mislead us into thinking that it was the last day of the year and start all over again with the fireworks and prayers.
