This is one of those stories that is suppose to be common but it's not... considering it involves two best friends which are nowdays usually referred to as BFF..
Joe was a mid thirty guy doing his final year of PhD in medicine in one of the top universities in the country....well Joe was the shorter version of his real name Joseph. When a Joseph is branded Joe it is a clear indication the guy in question is loaded(in his pockets that is) the broke Joseph are usualy called Jose if anything is to go by what I know.
And as any other young guy, Joe had the taste,ranging from modern apartment, tending fashion and beatiful women.He changed girls as often as anyone can remember and he happened to be in his forth relationship in the last three weeks....he must have tried becasue he usually lasts a day if he is in his nice self mood.
The girls name was Maya,A journalism student who was in her mid twenties,,,she must be special if she had managed to last for a full week with no sign of Joe deflecting back to his old self. Let's just call it truce...it was happening Joe was falling in love and he loved it.
But nothing is really perfect.., atleast according to the 12 rules of relationship 101, and Joe new relationship fell short on one of the rules...His best friend KJ happened to like his new girl....not juts like but obsessed with how beautiful she was..and he wanted her all to himself.
KJ being the guy he is ,played it cool and decided to go the long way to win the girls heart.He was going to beat Joe at his own game.
