Like any other job opportunity, adulting at home has become a full job for many Kenyan youths. I mean if you make the comparison with our grandmothers who at the age of 21 were not only married but had up to 3 kids and still counting.
So what is the underlining difference between being an adult and adulting?
Disclaimer: adulting at home is completely normal because you will be responsible when you start your adult life.
I always thought that being an adult and adulting was mainly focused on how young or old you are. You turn 18 and you think you are an adult because you are not your parents' responsibility but that of the government.
Nowadays, the "watoto na pombe" kids are busy skipping the adulting process to be adults because they have all the freedom that comes with tertiary education. Like they party from Monday to Monday.
The sutra ultimatum even suggests that adulting has no age limit, But being an adult has.
So don't worry if you are an adult and still adulting it's Completely normal to do so.

If anything is to go according to the gospel of Karma. We would not be living our homes to go build ours. I mean there is a very narrow line between being an adult and adulting while at home. My brother left home at 26 and he was not forced, and on the other age at 21 my parents are always behind my back to find something to do.
This kept me thinking if the adulting process has a climax prescient age gap. Can someone adult from an early age? Like can you be a kid but you are done adulting! How do we call such kids because we can't call them adults, that's an insult to them?
