What started as a simple motion of reject finance bill 2024 turned to be a generational theme with the Gen z taking the Upfront seat. With over 60 deaths recorded according to IPOA and countless injuries and abductions to youths for what was termed as antigovernmental protests.

The invasion of the parliament by youths which was criminalize led to crackdown of those who tore down the perimeters wall of the legislative house and a darn warning to those who might plan in the future to attempt such an act.
On July 7 2024 many university youths remembered those who died in the protests singing songs of heroism and promising that their death will not be in vain. The likes of Rex Masai who succumbed to gunshot wounds were among the peace full protesters who died in the hand of what KOT termed as Rogue police officers.
With that said, youths are determined to return on the street on Monday 6th 2024 to what now is being referred to as release fellow comrades who were abducted due to infringing the cybercrime act by posting criticizing comments about the government.
Demos to continue with what was started by the Gen z protestors now turned to release and charge those in a court of law.
With the appointment of new cabinet secretaries , youths are demanding for an accountable government that is fair to all.
