DIAZ Delighfull control trends at number one after Liverpool win

And the Mersey derby was a delight to watch especial in the second half. Robertson goal in the second half broke Everton first half rock of a defence after Mo Salah and Divock Origi played a one touch pass before the Egyptian King picked Robertson at the far post to head In the goal. Later on the Mersey derby Messiah would add on s second from a cross on a half volley from another substitute Luiz Diaz.

The game was a tight one in the first half after it ended in a goalless draw and might have been worse for Liverpool after Mane incident on Everton center back Holgate. Most of the first half was filled with so much intensity one of which saw Gordon and Alexander Anold  clash at the other end of the Liverpool half.

But what stood out among many Liverpool fans was the delightful control of Luiz Diaz moments after he replaced Sadio mane on the far right end. The win keeps the reds in the race as they now only fall one  point behind leaders man city who thrashed Watford 5 goals on sartuday afternoon

Everton had some good chances both falling on the youngster's Gordon and former Leister city tallsman Demarai Gray.

Earlier on Matip  brought down Gordon but the referee whistle it away becasue they youngster had earlier on  faked diving to get a penalty shout.

The best  chance of Everton came on the 69th minute when gray shot just deflected and hit the back of the post. Everton now are in the relegation zone after Burnley scored A late goal against Wolves Hampton.
