"Just the other day I was threatened by a Facebook post that I wont see heaven and I might die if I don't share, like, and comment on a post on their page.
Disclaimer: I'm a sinner too, I'm only propagating what annoyed me when I responded to one post that was against the biblical teaching. Do no harsh judgment should be promulgated here.
Well, this were my thoughts on the issue, people have started even using the Bible as a way of gaining popularity on social media sites. Threatening users using crazy ideas just to have huge followings on their social media accounts.
What's is annoying is the comparison some of them are making.
How can you tell people to choose between, a half-naked woman and Jesus on the cross? That itself is a sin( I thought they should know)and they should stop instigating that the two can be compared.
The whole reason I'm bitter with such people is that after they gain the traffic on This pages They start posting what is appealing to them and not what got them there in the first place
. they forget what attracted people to their pages.
One user who goes by the name of an don the evangelist started by posting such and now all he talks about is how you can advertise any business on his web page.
I mean even if the our moral compass is pointing "west" do we realy need to translate that into biblical matters
Forget social media accounts, this fake prophets of doom are everywhere and mostly especially churches. "Panda mbegu" is the most common one. That you can't be in communication with God if you haven't planted a seed in form of offerings which by thew way is not less than 5 bucks.
Recently famous city reverend Natasha was thrown under the bus for asking her congregation to form a covenant with God by offering not less than ksh 12400 to the altar.
She says God will only form a covenant with those who are willing to give the exact amount of money.
That's not the problem, the problem lies with Kenyans who blindly follow her and pay the said amount without objecting. Even after her exposure with her Indian boyfriend on using the same person to perform the same miracles.
